AMCI provides a full spectrum of behavioral health care specific to the prevention, health promotion, and treatment of children, youth, and families suffering from mental health disturbances and intellectual disabilities. We specialize in innovative evidence-based behavioral health services and care coordination to support the treatment of developmental, emotional and behavioral problems of children and families with complex needs.
#BEGREAT Program
#BEGREAT
Is a school based enrichment program geared towards scholars experiencing social, behavioral, and emotional challenges that can hinder academic achievement. The #BeGreat program utilizes creative, strength-based, therapeutic techniques to teach and inspire scholars to achieve their desired level of greatness. The objective of the program is to empower scholars to “Be Great” by providing wrap-around services and teaching new skills to make healthy informed decisions.
Individual and Group Counseling
Scholars meet one-on-one with school clinician to discuss areas of concern. Scholars could also meet in a group with peers to work on social skills.
Parent Workshops
Clinicians offer a variety of workshops that provide essential resources and critical topics that could help with school-aged scholars.
Family & Community
Clinicians help to connect families to supports and resources in the community.
